Our Board

The Board is made up of the Chair, the Chief Executive Officer, Executive Directors and Non-Executive Directors who are responsible for the day-to-day running of the organisation and are accountable for its performance.

The Board aims to provide leadership, to set the organisation's strategic aims, and to identify and maintain its values. All members have confirmed that they will adhere to the Seven Nolan Principles of Public Life and have met the Fit and Proper Person Test to be a member of an NHS organisation Board.

They meet on a monthly basis to update stakeholders on the services we provide and to answer any questions from the public. Anyone is welcome to attend. You can find a list of upcoming dates below.

Board Meeting Dates and Papers

Due to the impact of Coronavirus COVID-19, the Chairman has taken the decision to suspend non-urgent and non-essential meetings until further notice.

The Board will continue to meet 'virtually' during this period on the dates below. If you would like to attend a Board meeting please email us on dihc.contactus@nhs.net and we will send you the link to join the meeting.

If you have any questions or queries you would like to put to the Board please submit them via dihc.contactus@nhs.net and we will respond to them.

Martin has worked within the public sector for over 30 years and has recently retired from the Police Service where he served latterly as an Assistant Chief Constable with West Mercia Police having responsibility for delivery of 24/7 policing services across the counties of Shropshire, Telford, Worcestershire and Herefordshire.

George is a retired GP who worked in general practice for thirty-one years. He graduated from Glasgow University in 1978 and worked in Junior Doctor posts in Glasgow and Somerset.
