Dr Gillian Love - Associate Non-Executive Director
Dr Gillian Love was locally educated in Kinver and Stourbridge and qualified from Medical school in Birmingham in 1991.
She has been a partner at Halesowen medical practice since 1996 having worked in Dudley Group hospital posts and local practices whilst training to be a GP.
Gillian was a Clinical assistant in Russell’s Hall A&E in her earlier GP years and later, worked for 8 years as a Staff grade doctor at Mary Stevens Hospice in Stourbridge alongside her General Practice role.
She has been a GP trainer for the last 18 years and is passionate about the promoting place of Primary and Community care in the health and wellbeing of our population.
Gillian became involved in representing her primary care colleagues in the development of Dudley’s MCP (Now ICP) 4 years ago and has worked closely with the development team over that time.
Recently she was nominated by local GPs as a director of Future Proof Health, a limited company that has predominantly been involved in providing medical education alongside staffing services to Primary Care. This is an organisation in which all Dudley General practices are shareholders.
With the advent of Primary Care Networks last year Gillian was nominated as the Clinical Director of Halesowen PCN and continues in that role to date working alongside a range of Primary Care colleagues to create improved and equitable community services for patients that will compliment the services of the ICP.
